Nadeem Anjarwalla, a Binance executive detained in Nigeria for alleged tax evasion, has escaped custody, sparking a dramatic turn of events.

Anjarwalla, detained alongside a colleague, fled while on a prayer outing during Ramadan. Despite his British passport being held by authorities, he reportedly left the country on a Kenyan passport.

This escape complicates ongoing legal proceedings against Binance and its officials, adding further intrigue to Nigeria’s crackdown on alleged financial crimes involving cryptocurrency platforms.
