The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) mourns the loss of one of its iconic figures, Aisha Bello Mustapha, a distinguished newscaster whose career spanned over three decades.
The family confirmed her passing in a statement, expressing deep sorrow over her demise.Aisha, widely recognized for her pivotal role as a leading anchor on the NTA Network News at 9 PM throughout the ’90s and early 2000s, retired from active service in May 2022 after an illustrious 35-year career. Her family’s statement paid tribute to her kindness and announced her funeral prayer, set to be held at the central mosque in Abuja at 1 pm on Monday, December 11th, 2023.
Aisha Bello Mustapha left an enduring legacy in Nigerian broadcasting and will be remembered for her invaluable contributions to the industry.
