The Russian Defence Ministry reported on Monday that air defenses successfully thwarted 80 Ukrainian drone attacks across six regions.

Despite these efforts, debris from one intercepted drone caused a significant fire at a Rosneft oil terminal in Tuapse, leading to several explosions in the Black Sea port city. Ukrainian media celebrated the operation as a strategic win, citing the terminal’s importance to Russia’s war efforts. Additionally, 47 drone strikes were recorded in Rostov, with others intercepted over Crimea.

Russian authorities have since extinguished the fire, but the incident underscores the ongoing conflict and Ukraine’s continued efforts to disrupt Russian military operations. The conflict, now in its third year, sees frequent Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory, countering the extensive damage inflicted by Russia in Ukraine.
