Israel has announced its intention to escalate military strikes in Gaza to increase pressure on Hamas. This decision follows a series of attacks by Hamas on October 7, resulting in significant casualties. Israel has responded with both air and ground bombardments in Gaza, and they’ve positioned a large number of troops and tanks along the Gaza border, suggesting the possibility of a ground invasion. Israel has also issued warnings to residents in the northern zone around Gaza City to relocate to the southern part of Gaza. Additionally, international aid recently reached Gaza from Egypt, and Israel’s military readiness has been heightened for a potential operation to target Hamas activists and infrastructure in Gaza. #OMAGIST@AFRICAWORLDNEWS*
