Ikwerre Local Government Chairman, Samuel Nwanosike, accuses Governor Sim Fubara of orchestrating kidnappings to discredit and force FCT Minister Nyesom Wike out of office.
Nwanosike claims Fubara pays individuals to spread false narratives about Wike. He alleges Fubara’s involvement in supporting kidnappings to achieve his political goals. Nwanosike also criticizes Fubara’s lack of achievements in office. Rivers Commissioner for Information, Joe Johnson, responds that he is not aware of the allegations.
Wike attributes increased kidnappings in Abuja to military actions in Kaduna and Niger states.
